COVERAGE UP TO €1 BILLION

I read somewhere that coverage of injury/damage caused by terrorism is limited to €1 billion . Is this true?

The total obligations of all insurers included in the list of members of ASBL/VZW TRIP are limited to €1 billion per calendar year. This means that, under the provisions of the Law of 1 April 2007, the insurers included in the list, the reinsurers and the Belgian authorities will not pay more than €1 billion for events recognised to be related to terrorism and which occur during a particular calendar year.
