If terrorism is already covered in your insurance policy, this coverage is maintained.
In the case of policies which still exclude terrorism coverage, but will be obliged to supply it, injury/damage caused by terrorism will be covered as of the first premium payment due date which follows 30 April 2008. In the case of life insurance, this will apply as of the first anniversary date (i.e. date of your policy) of your policy which follows 30 April 2008.
New insurance policies for which coverage for terrorism is mandatory must include such coverage as of 1 May 2008.
